Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Design Engineer with a strong mechanical aptitude to join our team in Mossville, IL. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the automotive or heavy machinery industry , a solid foundation in mechanical or industrial engineering , and proficiency in CREO and Teamcenter . This role involves reviewing engineering design drawings, applying GD&T principles, and mentoring in drafting practices while adhering to established engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret engineering design drawings.
• Provide drafting mentorship and support based on engineering standards and specifications.
• Apply GD&T practices to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.
• Utilize CREO for 3D modeling and Teamcenter for data management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development.
• Ensure designs meet industry and internal standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with 2–4 years of relevant experience ; or
• Master’s degree in a related field (fresh graduates may be considered).
• Proficient in CREO and Teamcenter (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of GD&T and drafting principles.
• Familiarity with engineering standards and specifications.
• Background in the automotive or heavy machinery industry is required.

Preferred:

• Candidates who are local to Illinois or willing to relocate will be given preference.
