Job Description

Position: Marketing & Events Coordinator (Temp-to-Perm)

Flexible: 15 to 20 hours per week

Location: Remote (Florida preferred)

Type: Temporary-to-Permanent

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized, proactive and creative Coordinator to join our team in a remote capacity . This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative and brings both organizational and creative skills to the table.

The ideal candidate has remote work experience , strong communication skills and design experience (Canva, Adobe, or similar) to support the creation of professional event and marketing materials. While the role is fully remote, candidates based in Florida are strongly preferred to support occasional in-person needs.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support
  • Manage virtual calendars, scheduling, and communications across time zones.
  • Maintain organized digital filing systems, shared documents, and contact databases.
  • Support reporting, tracking deliverables, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Assist with vendor and partner coordination in a fully remote environment.
  • Provide budget tracking and expense reporting support for events and projects.

Event Coordination
  • Provide logistical support for virtual and in-person events (webinars, dinners, mixers, conferences).
  • Track RSVPs, guest details, and dietary restrictions.
  • Prepare event materials , including both digital and print collateral (agendas, signage, name badges, presentations).
  • Coordinate with venues, vendors, and tech teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Support real-time event needs such as attendee communications, speaker prep, and follow-up.
  • Assist with budget planning, invoice tracking, and cost reconciliation for events.

Design & Creative Support
  • Create professional, branded materials for events and clients (presentations, flyers, invitations, social graphics).
  • Maintain consistency with brand guidelines across print and digital assets.
  • Collaborate with the team on creative ideas to elevate event and client experiences.

Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of administrative, events, or project coordination experience.
  • Remote work experience required ; must be comfortable working independently and collaborating virtually.
  • Design experience required (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
  • Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive). Familiarity with project management or CRM tools (e.g., Monday.com, HubSpot, Asana) is a plus.
  • Problem-solver with a self-starter, go-getter attitude —someone who takes initiative and looks for ways to add value.
  • Interest in events, marketing, or client services highly desirable.
  • Based in Florida strongly preferred.

This is a flexible hourly position slotted at $17-$25 per hour based on experience.
