MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN I

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Reports to: Plant Manager

Compensation: $25 - $30/hr

Your Role:

As a hands-on Maintenance Technician I, you’ll support critical day-to-day operations at our semiconductor manufacturing facility. You’ll assist with maintaining equipment and facility infrastructure that supports metal plating and cleanroom environments—including pumps, ventilation systems, piping, and water treatment systems. This is a great opportunity to learn a high-tech environment, gain exposure to EHS systems, and grow professionally.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with maintenance, repairs, and installation of facility equipment such as pumps, piping, ventilation, HVAC, and wastewater systems.
• Support routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks under the guidance of senior technicians.
• Learn to read and follow schematics and technical drawings.
• Help maintain water treatment, compressed air, and chemical delivery systems.
• Assist with general shop upkeep, tool organization, and documentation of work performed.

What You’ll Bring:

• 1–3 years of mechanical or electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or cleanroom environment.
• Familiarity with basic mechanical, plumbing, and electrical tools and practices.
• Eagerness to learn new systems and help with establishing expanding facility.
• Willingness to work around chemical handling, wastewater, and environmental systems (training provided).
• Team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail and a desire to grow in a technical role.
