Job Title: Maintenance Manager – Food & Beverage Manufacturing

Location: Turlock, CA

Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000 + Bonus

Industry: Food & Beverage Manufacturing

Our client, a premier player in the food and beverage manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced and energetic Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at their large-scale production facility in Turlock, CA. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a proven professional who thrives in a dynamic, high-volume food or dairy manufacturing environment.

About the Role:

This high-impact role will oversee 5 Maintenance Supervisors and a large team of skilled maintenance technicians. The Maintenance Manager will drive reliability, efficiency, and safety across all plant maintenance activities while supporting production goals and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. You’ll report to the senior leadership team and play a vital role in developing strategic initiatives around maintenance excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop 5 Maintenance Supervisors and their respective teams across a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
  • Own and execute the site’s preventive and predictive maintenance strategy.
  • Champion a safety-first culture while ensuring all equipment meets FDA, USDA, and food safety compliance standards.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, and Quality to ensure seamless operations.
  • Leverage CMMS tools and KPI dashboards to track performance, reduce downtime, and drive cost-effective results.
  • Oversee capital improvement projects, vendor management, and maintenance budgeting.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to support operational efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in food and beverage or dairy manufacturing is required .
  • Proven track record of managing teams in a large-scale, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong background in mechanical, electrical, and automated systems common in food production.
  • Experience with CMMS systems and reliability-centered maintenance programs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred, but not required.
