Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Spanish–Korean Interpreter to support communication between Korean staff and Spanish-speaking subcontractors on our construction site. The successful candidate will provide accurate and timely interpretation of daily instructions, safety briefings, and project-related discussions. This position requires active presence on-site and the ability to facilitate clear communication in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. About the Role

The role involves facilitating communication between Korean staff and Spanish-speaking subcontractors on the construction site.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate clear and accurate communication between Korean staff and Spanish-speaking sub-contractors on the construction site.
• Interpret daily instructions, safety guidelines, and project updates in real time.
• Support meetings, site walk-throughs, and on-the-spot conversations to ensure mutual understanding.
• Assist in translating short written messages, notices, or basic documentation related to site operations.
• Work alongside project managers, supervisors, and field employees to bridge language and cultural differences.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in both Spanish and Korean, with the ability to interpret verbally in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
• Ability to work on-site, moving between different work areas as needed.
• Basic understanding of construction site operations or willingness to learn site-specific terminology.
• Reliable, flexible, and comfortable working in a dynamic field environment.
• Previous interpretation experience is preferred but not required.
