Job Description:

We are currently seeking Forklift Operators to join our team at our Pooler Branch location in Pooler GA. Forklift Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate fulfillment of customer orders, as well as maintaining inventory levels to prevent stock outs. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare shipments to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist drivers in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring items are properly secured for transport.
• Communicate inventory levels to the Warehouse Supervisor or immediate supervisor to prevent stock outs.
• Distribute book reorders to branch picking aisles as needed.
• Provide backup support for shipping/receiving, including loading and unloading containers.
• Return all merchandise to its proper location promptly, ensuring items are handled with care to avoid damage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Assist other Associates in completing tasks assigned by the Warehouse Manager or immediate supervisor.
• Have a strong understanding of cycle counting and inventory control procedures.
• Maintain regular attendance in accordance with the schedule.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Flexibility to assist with various tasks as needed.
