Job Description:

As the Financial Settlement Analyst within the Finance function at iVitaFi, you will play a pivotal role in driving business intelligence initiatives and managing the funds flow process for credit lines disbursed to our providers. Reporting to the Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, you will be responsible for extracting valuable insights from our data model in PowerBI and ensuring the seamless funds flow to support our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Funds Flow Management:

  • Oversee the funds flow process for credit lines disbursed to providers on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with finance, treasury, and operational teams to ensure accurate and timely funds allocation and disbursement.

Process Optimization:

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization within the funds flow process and financial reporting.
  • Implement improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall effectiveness of financial operations.

Business Intelligence and Data Analysis:

  • Utilize PowerBI to extract, analyze, and present key business intelligence gathered from our data model.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.

Data Insights and Value Creation:

  • Analyze complex financial data using PowerBI, extracting insights that go beyond raw data to provide a clear understanding of business performance.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the "so what" behind data trends, translating findings into actionable insights for the finance team and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business units to identify value creation opportunities based on data analysis, contributing to strategic decision-making and business growth.
  • Proactively recommend improvements and optimizations by linking data insights to actionable initiatives that positively impact iVitaFi's financial outcomes.
  • Drive a culture of data-driven decision-making by providing training and guidance on interpreting data insights and leveraging them for value creation.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and visualizations using PowerBI to communicate financial performance and trends.
  • Ensure reports align with business objectives and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.

Data Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and maintain data quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Work closely with IT and data engineering teams to address data quality issues and optimize data extraction processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the finance team, operations, and other business units to align business intelligence efforts with broader organizational goals.
  • Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing to ensure a holistic understanding of financial data and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) is a plus.
  • 5+ years operational banking, settlement and reconciliation or cash management experience desired.
  • Credit Card Processing or Issuer/Acquirer Settlement experience
  • Working knowledge of various bank portals to access data and initiate ACH transfers
  • Knowledge of NACHA rules and compliance
  • Expertise in using PowerBI for data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
  • Knowledge of SQL programming language very important.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience in managing funds flow processes, particularly related to credit lines and financial disbursements.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data quality and process optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey financial insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
