Estimator - Commercial Roofing
Greenbrier, TN (Just north of Nashville)

JRC, Inc. is a nationwide construction company headquartered in Greenbrier, Tennessee. Specializing in commercial roofing, siding, and exterior improvements, we're currently active in 48 states - and growing. We're looking for an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our team in-office at our corporate headquarters .

No sales required - just your expertise.
Must be willing to relocate to Middle Tennessee.

• Prepare comprehensive and accurate bid proposals, including detailed breakdowns for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

• Perform project take-offs from architectural and construction drawings.

• Generate timely cost estimates for both low-slope and steep-slope commercial roofing projects.

• Prepare submittals for contract projects and assist with change orders as needed.

• Collaborate with the sales team to evaluate opportunities and build clear scopes, budgets, and timelines.

• Transition awarded bids to the Production team to ensure a smooth project handoff and launch.

• Communicate with clients, vendors, and team members to gather necessary information and ensure project requirements are met.

• Participate in pre-bid meetings and occasionally conduct site visits to support ongoing projects and enhance client relationships.

• Minimum 3 years of commercial roofing estimating experience

• Strong understanding of commercial and industrial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, shingles, etc.)

• Proficient in project take-offs and reading blueprints/specifications

• Experience with Excel, On-Screen Takeoff, and Bid Estimating Software

• Ability to prepare accurate project submittals and track change orders

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills

• Valid driver's license in good standing
