A growing Midwest civil construction company is seeking to add an estimator to their team in Kansas City. This candidate will join the pursuit team at Emery and join a team of 7 other estimators. This candidate will join a team of project managers, engineers, safety personnel and construction experts to work on a variety of horizontal projects relating to utilities and grading (grading and concrete paving for warehouses, multi-family housing, municipality and small DOT work, etc.). This candidate will be heavily involved with preparing cost estimates and bid proposals to ensure projects are completed within budget and on time. This estimator will be working on multiple projects at any given time with work ranging from highways and roads, bridges, solar farms, municipalities, etc. Responsibilities include:
