Extension is seeking an Environmental, Health, & Safety Manager for a direct hire opportunity with one of our clients in Manitowoc, WI!

About our Client

Key Responsibilities

Developing effective Team Member and Leader participation within the EHS&S system
Identifying hazards and opportunities then assess and prioritize risk
Establishing improvement plans based on risk prioritization with clear objectives and timelines
Developing and improving EHS&S procedures, processes, training, risk identification and management, such as but not limited to loss control, industrial hygiene, spill prevention, environmental permitting, hazardous waste, DOT hazardous materials, emissions, emergency planning (EPCRA), and all other applicable key system elements
Serving as a liaison with applicable external regulatory agencies such as OSHA, WDNR, EPA, local Fire Dept., etc., then coordinate and follow-up on EHS&S audits to ensure compliance.
Taking actions to continually improve performance and achieve the desired outcomes.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree preferably in an Environmental, Health, Safety and/or Security field
10-15 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting
Detailed knowledge of OSHA, EPA, WDNR and other applicable EHS&S industry consensus standards
Experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint. CAD and SAP computer applications are a plus
CSP, CHMM or other similar board certification a plus
