Electronic Assembler
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electronic Assembler to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience assembling precision electronic components and possess a strong understanding of surface mount technology (SMT), soldering techniques, and reading technical drawings. This position may also involve light prototype work based on skill level.
JOB DUTIES:
Assemble miniature electronic assemblies using both surface mount and thru-hole components.
Perform rework and repair of defective units to meet quality standards.
Conduct visual inspections and functional checks using microscopes and other test equipment.
Participate in prototype builds, modifications, and upgrades as assigned.
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and ensure traceability of components.
Collaborate with engineering and production staff to resolve assembly issues.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to follow detailed assembly drawings, work instructions, and bill of materials (BOMs).
Proficiency in soldering under a microscope (both SMT and thru-hole components).
Familiarity with interpreting and understanding electronic schematics.
Hands-on experience with surface mount technology (SMT) assembly processes.
Good manual dexterity and attention to fine detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or IPC certification is a plus.
