The Grant Program Facilitator position is a casual, as-needed position responsible for providing leadership and supervision to girls ages 5–17 in assigned geographic areas, which include under-resourced communities. This role focuses on delivering high-quality program experiences in afterschool and community center settings.
Facilitators implement and deliver programs that align with the goals and objectives of Girl Scouts of North East Ohio (GSNEO) and meet the requirements of specific grant funding. In addition to program delivery, facilitators are responsible for maintaining and submitting accurate documentation to track and evaluate program success.
Programs are designed to introduce, support, and enhance Girl Scout troop and group activities, helping to extend and maintain girl membership throughout the council area. Grant Program Facilitators play a key role in ensuring that girls receive meaningful, enriching experiences that reflect the mission and values of the Girl Scouts.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
· Associate degree or some college coursework preferred in education, social work, youth development, organizational leadership, or a related field.
· Equivalent combination of relevant work experience (2–4 years) in youth programming or related areas will be considered.
· Knowledge of the Girl Scout program is preferred.

· Excellent problem-solving abilities and a disciplined, self-directed work ethic.
· Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

· Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines and arrive promptly at assigned locations.

Other Requirements:
· Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and access to a reliable, insured vehicle in good working condition.
