About the Role

We’re looking for a dedicated, organized, and team-oriented Dairy Manager to lead our dairy department. If you’re passionate about high-quality food, inventory accuracy, and team leadership, and you thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, we’d love to meet you.

As the Dairy Manager, you’ll oversee daily operations including ordering, stocking, staffing, merchandising, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. You’ll help keep our coolers full, our displays beautiful, and our customers happy.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the daily operations of the dairy department
• Order and maintain proper inventory levels to avoid overstock and outages
• Ensure all products are rotated, labeled, and stored correctly
• Train and supervise dairy team members; create department schedules
• Lead merchandising efforts that promote sales and product freshness
• Work with vendors to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal food safety regulations
• Monitor and report equipment issues (coolers, freezers, etc.)
• Deliver excellent customer service by assisting with questions, special orders, and complaints

What We’re Looking For

• Prior grocery or retail management experience, preferably with perishable products
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage inventory and interpret sales or ordering data
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Basic computer skills (inventory systems, ordering platforms, email)
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
