Project Inspector – Construction
We are seeking an experienced Project Inspector to provide full-time, on-site inspection services during the duration of active construction projects. This role requires a journeyman-level professional with at least seven (7) years of specialty experience in the specific trade or system being inspected.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, and standards.
- Inspect materials, workmanship, and installation methods across various systems.
- Review and interpret engineering and architectural plans and specifications.
- Perform material takeoffs, cost estimates, and assist with contract adjustments as needed.
- Support project teams by verifying quality and safety, including OSHA compliance.
- (Specialized) Conduct inspections of elevators, as required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of seven (7) years of specialty trade experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, and proper installation methods.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Skilled in evaluating workmanship and identifying compliance issues.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements and industry safety standards.
