Job Description
Our client is a private equity-backed manufacturer who is looking for a Compensation Analyst to help build structure and process on top of an established foundation. This is a rare opportunity to join a growing, fast-paced company at an inflection point, scaling from small business operations to enterprise-level sophistication.
This is the first compensation-focused hire, reporting directly to a seasoned Total Rewards leader who has scaled compensation and benefits functions in complex global environments. The role will start remote and transition to a hybrid schedule (3 days/week in office) at a new Cleveland office alongside executive leadership.
Why This Role
- You’ll be the architect of foundational comp structure: job architecture, pay bands, families/sub-families, and process definition.
- You’ll gain exposure to senior leadership, including the CFO, Treasurer, and Chief Accounting Officer.
- You’ll work closely with HRIS and payroll to help streamline systems and ensure equity, compliance, and transparency.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of compensation experience within manufacturing.
- Exposure to merit cycle planning, job evaluations, and incentive processes.
- Experience working with HRIS systems—Paylocity a plus, but not required.
- Strong analytical skills—regression analysis capabilities are important.
- Bonus points for involvement in a job architecture build or M&A-related comp work.
