Help us build the perfect cup — at scale.

We’re looking for a part-time coffee expert to help perfect and continually improve the taste and quality of drinks served through our smart coffee machines. This person should have a deep understanding of coffee recipes, flavor profiles, bean varieties, and milk ratios — ideally someone with experience in specialty coffee or high-end barista work.

Role Overview:

You’ll be responsible for developing and testing espresso-based recipes using our bean-to-cup vending machines. This includes hands-on experimentation, quality control, and helping us craft a consistent, delicious experience for customers at scale.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, refine, and test espresso-based recipes (latte, cappuccino, Americano, etc.)
• Work with different beans, milk types, powders, and sweeteners to optimize taste
• Visit our warehouse occasionally to conduct taste tests and calibrate machines
• Consult on ingredient sourcing and menu strategy
• Help train team on flavor consistency and preparation logic

Qualifications:

• Background as a senior barista, coffee roaster, or coffee trainer preferred
• Strong palate and understanding of espresso extraction and flavor balance
• Experience working with commercial coffee machines (automatic and semi-automatic)
• Familiarity with bean-to-cup or super-automatic espresso machines is a plus
• Passionate about elevating coffee quality and customer experience
• Flexible schedule; expected a few times per month on-site
• This is a part-time, freelance-style role — perfect for a coffee artisan who wants to shape a next-gen consumer product.
