The challenges you’ll tackle

• Balance short-term price fluctuations with a long-term margin strategy in a market that can change rapidly.
• Translate messy, incomplete data into clear actions for Sales, Supply Chain, and Ops.
• Build out reporting & dashboards while keeping day-to-day requests flowing to customers and leaders.

What success looks like:

First 90 days

Map key stakeholders, audit current pricing/margin playbook, and learn the product portfolio.

Within 6 months

Launch availability-and-inventory strategy, refine pricing, and start showing measurable margin lift.

End of Year 1

Hit profit targets, become the go-to resource in customer meetings, and fine-tune the primary strategy for extra value.

Day-to-day impact

• Run routine sales, pricing, and customer-program reports that steer decisions.
• Deliver forecasting & demand-planning insights to keep product moving and profits growing.
• Partner hourly with Ops, QA, and Supply Chain to solve inventory, service, and margin puzzles.
• Respond to ad-hoc internal/external asks with crisp analysis and clear recommendations.

What you bring

• 3-6 yrs. in category analytics, sales planning, or P&L-owning role (foodservice, CPG, distribution, or manufacturing).
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, Power Query) plus a knack for turning raw data into actionable stories.
• Proven track record juggling pricing, forecasting, and cross-functional projects in a fast-paced setting.
• Comfortable making quick, high-stakes calls with imperfect data.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in a leading foodservice distribution or broadline wholesale environment.
• BI / dashboard-automation chops (Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
• Formal project-management or Lean/Agile certification.
