Job Title: Medical Cash Poster Location: Louisville, KY 40241 (100% remote after 30 days of onsite training) Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour (depending on experience) Job Type: Full-time | Contract to Hire Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8-hour shift | Flexible start time (6:00 AM – 9:00 AM) Job Description: We are currently seeking a Medical Cash Poster to join a high-performing medical billing team in the Louisville area. This full-time position offers a great opportunity to transition into a permanent role within a stable and mission-driven healthcare organization. Responsibilities: Manually post insurance and patient payments across multiple behavioral health hospital accounts Review EOBs to verify accuracy of posted payments Reconcile cash receipts and balance end-of-day reports Handle patient payments and lockbox deposits Work with Excel-based spreadsheets for daily cash posting Communicate with billing teams and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate posting Requirements: Minimum 1 year of medical cash posting experience Proficient in reading and interpreting EOBs and remittance advices Excel proficiency is required (intermediate level) Experience with lockbox processing Familiarity with systems like Meditech, Waystar, or Assurance is a plus Experience with both professional and facility billing preferred Must be detail-oriented, reliable, and a team player Job Details: Interview Process: Virtual interview Parking: Free onsite parking available during onsite training Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Contract-to-Hire Notice Period: Open to candidates requiring a notice Don’t miss out—this is a great opportunity to work with a respected organization and transition into a long-term role.
