Job Title: Business Planning Specialist

Department: Sales Planning and Operations

Reports To: Manager, Sales Planning and Operations

The Business Planning Specialist role is all about teamwork. You will support the sales team by analyzing data, pricing strategies, and insightful reports to implement business plans effectively. This role drives performance, optimizes pricing, and fosters collaboration with Category Management, SCM, and IT teams. Ideal for individuals with a business or analytics background, this position offers opportunities to grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while contributing to strategic decision-making and organizational success.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Analysis

  • Analyze sales, supply, promotions, and ROI to improve resource allocation and outcomes.
  • Assist in developing and monitoring business plans, including sales targets and pricing strategies.
  • Define market and customer trends to support competitive pricing and sales strategies.
  • Visualize reports on sales performance, profitability, and KPIs using tools like Power BI.
  • Perform Promotion post-mortem analyses to pinpoint improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate across teams to address data requests and ad-hoc analysis needs.
  • Facilitate business review meetings and contribute to sales strategy discussions.

Pricing & Promotion Management

  • Develop and refine pricing and promotion strategies based on cost, demand, and market trends.
  • Analyze competitive pricing to ensure market alignment and profitability.
  • Adapt pricing plans to address changing market dynamics and organizational objectives.
  • Track and report sales performance across regions and products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in business, data, accounting, finance, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, sales operations, or pricing management. Experience in food or distribution is a plus.
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel. Power BI and SQL knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and teamwork.
  • Bilingual fluency in Korean and English.
