LHH has a client located in Hybrid who needs a Business Analyst 3 a contract opportunity!

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (Hybrid)

Pay: $40 - $45/hour

Type: Contract (Expected to go the full 18 months)

Typical Day in the Role

• Purpose of the Team: The main function of a business operations specialist is to maintain vendor relationships, acting as a business analyst for non-IT projects or filling organizational roles above an administrative level, but below a management level. Other responsibilities may include maintaining all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics and budget. The business operations specialist usually reports to a project manager or director.

• Key projects:

→ The candidate will be responsible for reviewing contracts, focusing on compliance within the sales deal execution process.

→ A legal background is important for the role, as the candidate will need to understand and review legal content.

→ The candidate will also need to manage and ensure adherence to compliance standards.

→The role involves problem-solving under pressure and meeting deadlines.

Candidate Requirements

  • Years of Experience Required: 5- 7 overall years of experience in the field.
  • Degrees or certifications required: A degree is not a primary focus for this role. The emphasis is on relevant years of experience and practical knowledge in legal and compliance areas.

• Disqualifiers:

□ Large, unexplained gaps in the resume.

□ Lack of motivation or a growth mindset, indicated by a stagnant career history.

□ Not meeting the required years of experience for the targeted level

□ Insufficient years of experience, particularly if the candidate is very junior or fresh out of college.

• Best vs. Average:

→ Support the Engineering Site Leader in maintaining a rhythm of the business (RoB) that drives execution of core business priorities and encourages best practice sharing among development centers.

→ Support and participate in strategic initiatives or cross-group projects contributing to the overall strategy. Create and implement accurate plans. Develop success metrics and communication approach for these initiatives and projects

→ Partner with corporate communications and local teams to deliver on an internal

communication (meetings, presentations, milestones, etc.) and external communication (university engagement, customer, partner, PR, etc.) strategy that reinforces Client values, brand, and presence in the community

→ Collaborate with relevant teams to deliver programming that shapes a positive, inclusive, and innovative culture at our engineering and research centers.

→ Maintain relationships with peers outside the team to ensure cross-group strong collaboration.

→ Prior experience with Client and familiarity with specific tools and systems used in the company is strongly preferred

→ Legal background knowledge is important for the role.

• Performance Indicators:

Performance will be assessed based on ability to work fast paced environment and quality of work.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience

  1. Minimum 5-6 years’ experience with managing and executing sales deals with a focus on compliance.
  2. Minimum 5-6 year’s experience with Legal and compliance background, particularly in reviewing contracts.
  3. Minimum 4+ years’ experience with Client tools and systems ( CRM COSMIC, VL Central, OneVet, ECIF Central, OneSOE, APT )
