Are you an experienced Business Analyst with a desire to excel? If so, then Talent Software Services may have the job for you! Our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to work at their company in Aurora, OH.

Position Summary: This role will contribute to reviewing forecasts. The role will consist of 10% meetings with individuals and stakeholders, 70% analysis and consolidation of forecast files, and 20% review of the work with the manager.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Support business analysis through month-end actualization and roll-forward of files.
• Refresh and update monthly key reports, scorecards, and slides in collaboration with the team.
• Provide variance to forecast analysis across all business metrics (SKU, platform, publisher, title-level).
• Support ad-hoc analyses and deliverables as requested; provide data and insights across the broader team.
• Document business processes and deliverables.
• The ideal candidate would have experience in an FP&A financial analyst role where they understand the fundamentals of forecasting variance to actuals. They should also be able to derive insights from data and effectively communicate those insights, skills generally learned through corporate finance and analyst roles.
• Performance will be assessed based on the quality of work, feedback, and timelines.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting, or a relevant field is required.
• 5-7 years of experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in advanced Excel modeling.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in storytelling and the ability to digest data insights.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Years of Experience Required: 5 years in FP&A, financial analysis, or a relevant field.
• Degrees or Certifications Required: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field.

Preferred:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, advanced modeling, and significant experience with data modeling and forecasting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Preferred (though not required) experience in gaming.
