Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a bus to transport passengers to and from designated locations
- Follow a predetermined route and schedule
- Ensure the bus is clean and well-maintained
- Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus
- Provide excellent customer service to students
- Maintain order and discipline among students
- Report any accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues to the appropriate department
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in school bus driving, or related fields is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of basic mechanical principles for troubleshooting minor issues with the bus
- Strong customer service skills to interact with students of all ages and backgrounds
- Ability to manage student behavior and maintain a safe and orderly environment on the bus
-Must have positive attitude, good communication skills and be reliable.
