Job Description

3rd shift (11pm-7am)

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialized analytical chemical testing on various samples, including raw materials, in-process batches, finished goods, and water samples
• Support development projects, new products, and Out of Specification investigations through specialized testing as directed by the Laboratory Manager
• Document all results according to SOPs and review the work of other laboratory personnel
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as GC, HPLC, UV/Visible Spectrophotometry, and FTIR
• Perform analytical work for cleaning validations and engineering trials, compile and summarize data, and maintain general lab cleanliness

Qualifications

• College degree in Chemistry, or related Science degree
• Laboratory experience
• Must have common knowledge of basic chemistry techniques and analytical testing and instrumentation
• Ability to troubleshoot laboratory instruments and perform routine preventative maintenance
• Ability to work extra hours, including some limited weekend work

Salary: $22/hr. - $25/hr. + $0.50 Shift Premium
