Position Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Air Export Coordinator to manage international air export operations based in the Pittsburgh office. The successful candidate will be familiar with the end-to-end export process, including documentation, carrier coordination, and regulatory compliance. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods across global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of air export shipments from booking to final departure
• Prepare and process export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and air waybills
• Ensure compliance with U.S. and international export regulations, including AES filings
• Communicate with clients, carriers, customs brokers, and overseas agents to coordinate shipment details
• Track shipments, proactively resolve delays or issues, and provide status updates to clients
• Accurately maintain records and enter data in logistics systems
• Deliver exceptional service and build strong relationships with customers and partners

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in air export operations within the freight forwarding or logistics industry
• In-depth understanding of export regulations and documentation requirements
• Experience with logistics software such as CargoWise or similar platforms
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-paced environment
