A very well known, top, privately held company is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for their Coral Gables office. Position Title: Accounts Payable Specialist Location: Coral Gables, FL Salary: $55K + bonus depending on experience and qualifications Technical Skill Set Required: Experience with all general Accounts Payable functions. Review invoices for appropriate documentation and final approval prior to payment. Interfacing with external clients & corporate employees to ensure positive responses to their Receivable inquiries. Invoicing. Assist with month end close. Answers all vendor inquiries. Account Management. Work closely with other Accounting team members. Voucher entry – ensuring invoices are accurate and per purchasing documents Payment processing – preparing weekly payment batches accurately and timely and ensuring all payments are in accordance with purchasing policies and procedures. Maintaining schedules to track and ensure monthly vendors are paid on time. Contacting vendors and volunteers to obtain necessary documents needed to process invoices and payments, such as W9s, payment/bank details or other items. Job Requirements: 1+ years of hands-on Accounts Payable Experience. Experience using Microsoft Excel. Associate's degree Preferred.
