ACCOUNTING MANAGER POSITION SUMMARY

The Accounting Manager will coordinate, prepare, and implement accounting activities including journal entries, financial statements, fixed assets, accounting receivables, daily cash activities, vendor payments, company credit cards, account reconciliations, while maintaining compliance with GAAP accounting and financial reporting requirements.

ACCOUNTING MANAGER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• CPA certification and permit (license) in the state of Kansas is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required. Master's degree preferred.
• Must have a strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Must have effective communication skills to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Must be detail oriented with commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
• Must have excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
